The international aid group MSF (Doctors Without Borders) has released its 11th annual list of ‘Top 10′ humanitarian crises.
Ethiopia’s Ogaden region is on the list. According to MSF, Continued violence and harsh climatic conditions have made living a constant struggle for people in the crisis-affected area of the Ogaden, Ethiopia’s Somali region.
“Caught between rebel groups based in the region and government forces intent on quelling the rebellion”, MSF says, “the largely nomadic population has become ever more isolated from basic services and humanitarian assistance.”
